SUBMIT: Your Best Double Exposure Photo by December 12th. WIN: Paper Pinhole Camera Kit

Dec 6, 2011 06:08 PM

Using an analog camera to create multiple exposures is a technique that has long been in practice throughout the history of photography. Pressing the shutter button twice will superimpose the exposure of two different images onto the same piece of film. Sometimes done in an artistic manner, sometimes by accident—you never know what you'll get until you develop your roll of film.

Now, the digital age allows for us to easily create double exposures with any of the images to our liking. This week's challenge requires you to submit a photo with two (or more) images overlayed onto one another by utilizing a cell phone app to create the photo. If you need some direction, check out this guide on how to create double exposures with your cell phone.

ENTER TO WIN

One lucky winner will receive the Hole-On-Ex Paper Pinhole Camera Kit! This kit comes with everything you need to construct your own palm-sized 35mm paper camera. With a bottle of glue, a ruler, a pencil, and some hard work, you'll find yourself rewarded with some insane pinhole photographs and an entirely new appreciation for the mechanics of photography.
